Glasvezelkabel BlueOptics EFE350-0020M-AQ-R-BO LC LC/UPC OM3 20 m aqua

The BlueOptics EFE350-0020M-AQ-R-BO LC to LC/UPC OM3 fibre optic cable, 20 metres, is designed for high-speed multimode optical links. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM3 classification, this aqua-coloured cable supports enhanced bandwidth for modern network infrastructures and structured cabling. It is intended for reliable short- to medium-distance connections in data centres, server rooms and enterprise networks where low insertion loss and consistent performance are important.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode fibre cable provides improved modal bandwidth compared with lower-grade multimode cables, enabling higher data rates over the same distance. The LC/UPC connectors offer low back reflection and stable optical coupling, while the 20 m length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment connections. The aqua jacket helps with colour-coded cable management in dense installations.

How to use

Route the cable following your site’s cable management practices, avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress on connectors. Insert LC connectors firmly into compatible LC ports on patch panels, transceivers or equipment until the latch clicks. Verify link integrity and optical loss with appropriate testing equipment or by checking link status on connected devices. When dressing the cable, maintain the minimum bend radius specified for multimode fibre to prevent increased attenuation.

Recommendations

Keep connector endfaces clean and protected before and after installation; use dust caps and a suitable fibre cleaning kit. For optimal performance in high-density racks, label both ends and use colour-coded pathways. When using for high-speed links, ensure transceivers and patch panels support OM3 multimode specifications.
