Glasvezelkabel BlueOptics FCKAB-OM4-C03-L-BO LC LC/UPC OM4 3 m paars

The BlueOptics FCKAB-OM4-C03-L-BO LC to LC/UPC fibre optic cable is a 3 m OM4 multimode link with a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for high-speed communication, this violet cable supports low-attenuation data transmission and is suitable for dense networking environments where consistent signal integrity and short-reach performance are required. The LC/UPC connectors provide reliable mating and return-loss characteristics for InfiniBand and other multimode systems.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable delivers higher bandwidth over multimode fibre compared with lower OM classes, enabling longer reach or increased data rates in short-range networks. The LC/UPC terminations ensure precise connector alignment and low back-reflection. The 3 m length offers a balance between flexibility and neat cabling in racks and patch panels. The violet jacket provides quick visual identification in mixed-cable setups.

How to use

Inspect connectors and transceiver ports for dust or damage before installation. Route the 3 m cable along cable management paths to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain a bend radius appropriate for multimode fibre. Insert the LC connectors into matching LC/UPC ports until they latch, ensuring correct orientation. For removal, depress the latch and pull the connector straight out. Perform link validation and optical power testing after installation to confirm adequate signal levels and low insertion loss.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable with protective dust caps on the LC connectors until connection. Use cable ties or Velcro straps to secure routing without compressing the cable, and avoid exposure to mechanical stress or excess heat to preserve OM4 performance.
