GoodConnections Alcasa Cat6a S/FTP patchkabel 15m – RJ-45 stekker op stekker – violet LSZH (8060-H150V)

In a bustling server room or data centre where every rack needs dependable, high-speed connectivity, the GoodConnections Alcasa Cat6a S/FTP patch cable in violet is a solid choice. This 15-metre cable is built to handle demanding 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks with a bandwidth of 500 MHz, making it suitable for both structured cabling and direct equipment linking.

Key specifications

• Category 6A (Cat6a) performance for 10GBASE-T networks
• S/FTP (S-STP) shielding: overall braid and foil per pair to minimise electromagnetic interference
• 15 metre length with two male RJ-45 connectors
• Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket, also referred to as raucharm halogenfrei, for safer use in confined spaces
• Violet outer jacket for easy colour-coding of network runs
• Conforms to TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1 standard
• Equipped with a strain relief (Rastnasenschutz) to protect the connector latches from snagging

Why choose it

This patch cable stands out for its robust shielding and fire-safety credentials. The S/FTP construction pairs each twisted pair with its own foil and adds an outer braid, ensuring stable data transmission even in high-interference environments such as industrial settings or densely packed racks. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic and corrosive fumes in case of fire, which is a critical feature for public buildings and ventilation areas.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting network switches, routers, and servers in data centres
• Linking PoE devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points
• High-bandwidth applications in professional audio/video networks
• Structured cabling in offices requiring Cat6a performance

Good to know

The cable is colour-coded violet, making it simple to identify in a patch panel. Its 15-metre length offers routing flexibility between racks. Please check your device ports — this cable uses standard RJ-45 connectors and is compatible with all 100/1000BASE-T and 10GBASE-T equipment.
