Netwerkkabel Alcasa 0,25 m Cat. 6 S/FTP geel

The Networking Cable Alcasa 0.25m Cat. 6 S/FTP Yellow is a short patch cable designed for compact networking setups. It uses Cat.6 S/FTP construction and 10GBase-T cabling technology to support high-speed data transfer up to 10000 Mbit/s. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished in a yellow jacket, the cable is intended for reliable connections where space is limited and clear cable identification is needed.

Advantages

Shielded foil and braided drain construction (S/FTP) reduces external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable signal integrity for high-bandwidth applications. The 0.25 m length minimizes excess cable in dense racks or between closely positioned devices. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with typical network equipment. The yellow outer jacket improves visual organization and rapid identification within cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and servers in rack-mounted installations with limited space
• Short links between network devices on desktop or wall-mounted setups
• High-speed 10GBase-T connections where shielded cabling is required
• Cable management where color-coding is used for network segmentation

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.25 m
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T (Cat. 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Maximum data transfer rate: 10000 Mbit/s
• Outer colour: Yellow

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector firmly into the network port of each device until the latch clicks. Use this short cable to create direct connections between adjacent ports on switches, patch panels, or between a device and a wall outlet. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connector; maintain gentle curves to preserve shielding and pair geometry. For installations in racks or enclosures, route the cable along existing cable management paths to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat. 6 S/FTP cable for short, high-speed links where interference reduction is important. For runs longer than a few meters, consider using longer cables rated for Cat.6 performance and confirm that connected equipment supports 10GBase-T. When mixing shielded and unshielded components, ensure proper grounding practices to maintain shielding effectiveness.
