Netwerkkabel Alcasa 0,25 m Cat. 6 S/FTP zwart

The Networking Cable Alcasa 0.25m Cat. 6 S/FTP Black is a short patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in compact setups. Built to Cat.6 performance and equipped with S/FTP shielding, it supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and maintains signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic interference. The cable has gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and a black jacket for a discreet, professional appearance.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding helps reduce crosstalk and protects against external electromagnetic noise for more stable network performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and reduce oxidation over time. The 0.25 m length minimizes excess cable clutter in patch panels, wall outlets or desktop connections. Cat.6 design ensures compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet and common structured cabling installations.

Suitable for

• Short connections between patch panel and switch
• Desk or workstation Ethernet links
• Connecting networked devices in compact rack or cabinet setups
• Temporary or permanent connections where minimal cable slack is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat. 6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-screened pairs)
• Supported speeds: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 0.25 m
• Compatible cabling: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Color: Black

How to use

Plug one gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the switch, patch panel or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Use the 0.25 m Alcasa Cat. 6 S/FTP cable for short-distance links where minimal slack is desired. Avoid sharp bends near the connector and do not excessively pull on the cable to preserve shielding and contact integrity.

Recommendations

Install in shielded or unshielded environments as needed; to maintain full S/FTP performance, ensure both ends of the link use compatible shielded equipment or properly grounded panels. For best results in high-interference areas, route the cable away from large power cables and sources of electromagnetic interference.
