Netwerkkabel Alcasa 0,25 m RJ-45 Cat6 wit

The Alcasa 0.25m RJ-45 Cat6 White networking cable by Good Connections is a short, shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable local network links in compact setups. This Cat6 S/FTP cable combines foil and braided shielding with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to reduce interference and maintain stable high-speed connections. Its 0.25 m length and white jacket make it suitable for tight spaces and discreet installations where a short, high-quality link is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding construction provides effective protection against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, improving signal integrity in congested cable environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance for consistent performance over time. The short 0.25 m length minimizes cable clutter and signal loss in short runs, while the white outer jacket offers a neutral appearance for visible installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting network ports in rack-mounted equipment with minimal clearance
• Linking a modem, router, or switch to nearby devices
• Point-to-point connections between adjacent wall jacks or patch panels
• Office or home setups where short, tidy cabling is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.25 m
• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: White

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices, ensuring secure engagement until the connector latch clicks. Use the 0.25 m cable for short-distance links where a compact connection is required; avoid stretching the cable or routing it through tight bends that exceed the connector or cable bend radius. For best results, connect devices that are physically close to each other such as adjacent ports on a switch, patch panel, or wall outlet.

Recommendations

Use the Alcasa 0.25m RJ-45 Cat6 cable in environments where a short, shielded Cat6 connection is sufficient. Keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines where possible to further reduce potential interference, and inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage to maintain reliable contact.
