Netwerkkabel Alcasa 8060-HP250S zwart 25 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Alcasa 8060-HP250S Black 25m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a 25 metre connection designed for high-speed Ethernet links. Built to Cat6a specification with S/FTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while supporting higher data rates. Terminated with RJ‑45 connectors plated in gold, the cable offers consistent contact quality and a reliable physical connection in home or office cabling installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall screen with individually shielded pairs, improving protection against external noise and internal pair-to-pair interference. Cat6a performance extends usable bandwidth and supports gigabit and multi-gigabit networking over the full 25 m length. Gold-plated RJ‑45 plugs ensure corrosion resistance and stable connectivity, while the black jacket provides a discreet finish that integrates with most environments.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in residential and small office networks
• Multi-gigabit links for network switches and NAS devices
• Connections between routers, modems, and desktop computers
• Structured cabling runs where reduced interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector plating: gold
• Color: black

How to use

Route the 25 m cable between network devices ensuring the length does not exceed recommended run distances for your network topology. Insert the RJ‑45 connector firmly into the device port until it clicks. Avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep the run away from high-voltage power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve signal quality. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the Alcasa Cat6a S/FTP cable for wired connections where stable high throughput and reduced interference are important. Test link speed after installation and replace connectors or reterminate only with compatible tools and components to maintain shielding continuity.
