Netwerkkabel Alcasa CAT6 S/FTP 25 m

The Networking Cable Alcasa CAT6 S/FTP 25 m is a 25-metre Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Constructed to CAT6 specification with S/FTP shielding and equipped with RJ-45 connectors plated for corrosion resistance, the cable provides stable connections and reduced electromagnetic interference. The orange jacket improves visibility for installation and cable management.

Advantages

The cable's S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) design reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic disturbances, supporting reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact quality and reduce oxidation over time. The 25 m length covers longer runs without intermediate patching, and the durable orange outer sheath resists wear while remaining easy to identify in cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections in homes and small offices
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices
• Temporary or permanent installations where increased visibility is required
• Data transfer, streaming, VoIP and online gaming setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Orange
• Suitable bandwidth: up to 250 MHz (CAT6 class)

How to use

Identify the network ports on your devices and route the cable to avoid sharp bends or pinch points. Insert the RJ-45 connectors fully into device ports until a click confirms the latch engagement. For best performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and avoid excessive coiling. If running the cable through walls or conduits, ensure compliance with local building codes and use appropriate grommets or bushings to protect the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, maintain bend radii larger than those recommended by CAT6 specifications and avoid pulling forces that exceed typical installation limits. Use the orange jacket to mark runs requiring easy identification and consider labeling both ends to simplify maintenance.
