Videokabel-adapter Alcasa DP14-HDMI10 10m DisplayPort naar HDMI zwart

The Alcasa DP14-HDMI10 is a 10 meter DisplayPort-to-HDMI video cable adapter designed to connect a DisplayPort output from a computer or laptop to an HDMI input on a monitor, TV or projector. The cable is black with a 7 mm diameter and provides a single, continuous connection that simplifies extending or rearranging a display setup while preserving digital video signal integrity over a longer distance.

Advantages

This adapter cable supports a direct DisplayPort to HDMI connection without the need for separate converters. The 10 m length reduces the need for additional joints and intermediate adapters, while the slim 7 mm diameter balances flexibility and durability for routing through desks or AV cabinets. Its straightforward single-cable design helps maintain a stable video signal and minimizes visible clutter in professional and home installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop with DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Extending display connections in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Home entertainment systems and projector setups
• Temporary AV installations and trade show displays

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Connector 1: DisplayPort
• Connector 2: HDMI
• Cable diameter: 7 mm
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end to the source device with a DisplayPort output and plug the HDMI end into the display device. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display input to the appropriate HDMI port. For best results, avoid sharp bends near the connectors and route the cable to prevent excessive tension. When switching between devices, use the display's input selector or the source device's display settings to configure resolution and refresh rate as needed.

Recommendations

For reliable performance over the full 10 m length, confirm that both source and display devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate through a DisplayPort-to-HDMI passive cable. If encountering signal loss at higher resolutions, consider reducing resolution or using a powered active converter designed for long runs.
