Gordijn-bewegingsmelder Bosch RFPR-C12-B draadloze gordijnvormige bewegingssensor

The Bosch RFPR-C12-B wireless curtain-style motion sensor is engineered to monitor narrow, linear zones such as windows, doorways and corridors. Its curtain-shaped coverage concentrates detection in a thin vertical plane, enabling precise perimeter protection and targeted indoor entry monitoring. The device is intended for integration with compatible wireless security systems to deliver dependable detection while reducing unwanted alarms from broad-area motion.

Advantages

This curtain motion detector provides focused coverage that limits detection to a narrow zone, improving discrimination between relevant intrusions and ambient activity. Wireless operation simplifies installation without the need for additional cabling and supports flexible placement near windows and openings. The sensor’s design reduces false alarms by concentrating sensing elements into a curtain pattern and by working as part of a system that allows configuration of sensitivity and reporting behavior.

Suitable for

• Perimeter protection along windows and sliding doors
• Monitoring narrow hallways and corridors
• Securing display cases, shelving or specific entry points
• Integration into wireless alarm systems for homes and small businesses

Key specifications

• Curtain-shaped detection pattern optimized for narrow vertical zones
• Wireless communication compatible with supported security receivers
• Compact, wall- or frame-mountable enclosure suitable for indoor use
• Adjustable mounting angle to align the curtain beam with openings
• Low-power design for extended battery life in wireless operation

How to use

Mount the sensor on a wall or window frame so that the curtain detection plane covers the area to protect. Align the unit vertically and adjust the mounting angle to ensure the narrow detection field intersects the desired threshold, for example along a window sill or door frame. Enroll the detector into the compatible wireless security system following the system’s enrollment procedure, set the desired sensitivity and reporting parameters, and test the coverage by walking through the protected zone at typical approach angles.

Recommendations

Position the device to avoid direct exposure to heating vents, strong drafts or nearby moving vegetation that could trigger false alarms. Use the curtain detector where focused monitoring is required rather than as a replacement for broad-area motion sensors. Regularly test battery status and system connectivity as part of routine maintenance.
