GraviTrax Junior element hamer Ravensburger 27518 geel 7 jaar

The GraviTrax Junior Element Hammer in yellow is an accessory piece for the GraviTrax marble run system designed for children aged 7 and up. This hammer element integrates into existing GraviTrax Junior layouts to add an interactive mechanical action: when a marble reaches the hammer, it triggers movement that can redirect the marble or activate other elements in the track. The part is sized and colored to match the Junior line, providing a straightforward way to increase play variety and introduce cause-and-effect mechanics during construction play.

Advantages

The hammer element expands play possibilities without changing core building principles of the GraviTrax Junior system. Its simple mechanical action helps develop hand-eye coordination, sequencing and problem-solving as children design track routes that make the hammer activate reliably. The bright yellow color improves visibility in complex builds, and compatibility with GraviTrax Junior pieces ensures easy assembly and interchange with other components.

Suitable for

• Children aged 7 years and older
• Extension of existing GraviTrax Junior marble run layouts
• Educational play focused on basic mechanics and cause-and-effect
• Creative building and track redesign challenges

Key specifications

• Color: yellow
• Compatibility: GraviTrax Junior construction system
• Recommended minimum age: 7 years
• Function: mechanical hammer action activated by marble impact
• Material: durable plastic suitable for play

How to use

Integrate the hammer element into a GraviTrax Junior track by placing it on compatible track tiles or support pegs according to the system’s assembly rules. Position the incoming track so that marbles strike the hammer trigger point; observe how the mechanical action redirects the marble or sets off downstream elements. Test and adjust track angles and heights to fine-tune the hammer’s activation and the desired sequence of events during play sessions.

Recommendations

The hammer element works best when used as part of a complete GraviTrax Junior setup; combine it with other dynamic pieces to explore different mechanical interactions. Supervise younger children during assembly and replace any worn pieces to maintain safe and reliable operation.
