Speelgoed knikkerbaan Ravensburger GraviTrax PRO Starter-Set Vertical vanaf 8 jaar

The Ravensburger GraviTrax PRO Starter-Set Vertical is a modular marble run kit designed for children aged 8 and older who are interested in construction toys and STEM challenges. The set combines track tiles, vertical elements and interactive components to let users design and test gravity-powered courses. It supports experimentation with speed, momentum and routing while producing repeatable results on different layouts.

Advantages

This starter set provides a structured introduction to the GraviTrax PRO system with vertical elements that extend the range of possible builds. Components are compatible with the broader GraviTrax ecosystem, allowing gradual expansion and variation. The included parts are durable and engineered for reliable marble flow, which reduces frustration during repetitive testing and helps illustrate cause-and-effect mechanics in a hands-on way.

Suitable for

• Hands-on STEM learning and experimentation
• Improving spatial reasoning and fine motor skills
• Individual play and collaborative building sessions
• Classroom demonstrations or after-school activities

Key specifications

• Intended age: 8 years and up
• System compatibility: GraviTrax PRO components and standard GraviTrax accessories
• Contents: assorted track tiles, vertical elements, connectors and marbles (contents vary by package)
• Material: high-quality molded plastic designed for repeated assembly
• Packaging: compact starter-set format for modular expansion

How to use

Unpack the set and sort tiles, vertical elements and marbles on a clear surface. Begin with a basic layout using the included instruction guide or create an original course by connecting track tiles and adding vertical pieces where you want height and drops. Test each configuration by releasing a marble from the starting point and observe how gravity, height differences and curved or straight tracks affect speed and trajectory. Adjust components to refine timing, add safety supports for tall sections, and repeat runs to compare results.

Recommendations

Use the set on a stable, flat surface with enough clear space around taller vertical elements to avoid accidental knocks. Supervise younger users during assembly and when changing layouts. Combine this PRO Starter-Set Vertical with other GraviTrax modules to explore more complex physics concepts and longer tracks.
