Hama 00050561 lamineerapparaat koud-/heetlamineerapparaat 250 mm/min zwart

The Hama 00050561 cold/hot laminator is a compact desktop device designed for laminating documents, photos and small prints up to a width of 24 cm. Its dual-mode operation supports both cold and hot lamination, and a short warm-up time of about 4 minutes allows quick start-up. With a lamination speed of 250 mm/min and a slim footprint (345 mm wide, 140 mm deep, 65 mm high), the unit fits easily on worktops and in small offices or home studios. The laminator has a black housing and is intended for occasional to moderate lamination tasks, producing smooth, durable finishes for protected materials.

Advantages

The device combines hot and cold lamination options in one machine, giving flexibility for heat-sensitive materials as well as standard thermal pouches. Compact dimensions and lightweight construction make storage and placement easy, while the 4-minute preheat time reduces waiting before use. A controlled feeding speed of 250 mm/min provides consistent lamination results and helps avoid wrinkles and bubbles when used with appropriate pouches.

Suitable for

• Laminating ID cards, membership cards and small signage up to 24 cm wide
• Protecting photos, certificates and single-page documents
• Craft and school projects requiring both hot and cold lamination
• Small office or home use where space is limited

How to use

Select the appropriate lamination mode for the material and pouch type; use cold mode for heat-sensitive items and hot mode for standard thermal pouches. Power on the laminator and allow it to preheat for about 4 minutes when using hot lamination. Align the document inside the lamination pouch, center it, and feed the sealed end into the machine first following the pouch manufacturer’s guidance. Guide the pouch steadily to maintain an even feed and wait for the pouch to exit completely before handling the laminated item to avoid deformation while cooling.

Recommendations

Use pouches sized to the laminator’s maximum width or smaller and compatible with hot or cold lamination as required. For best results with hot lamination, allow the unit to reach its ready state and use pouches of appropriate thickness. Clean the rollers periodically according to the manufacturer’s instructions and avoid laminating items with staples or other hard protrusions.
