Hama 00050562 lamineerapparaat koud-/heetlamineerapparaat 250 mm/min zwart

The Hama 00050562 cold/hot laminator is a compact desktop device designed for protecting and finishing documents, photos and craft projects. It supports both hot and cold lamination modes and accepts media up to a maximum lamination width of 34 cm. The unit reaches operational readiness after a short preheating time of approximately 4 minutes and is offered in a black finish with a slim footprint (440 mm × 140 mm × 65 mm), suitable for home or small office spaces.

Advantages

The dual-mode design allows you to choose hot lamination for a durable, glossy finish or cold lamination for heat-sensitive materials. A rapid preheating time reduces waiting between jobs, and the 34 cm maximum width accommodates standard A4 and similarly sized media. The device’s compact dimensions make it easy to place on a desk or store when not in use, while the simple controls support straightforward operation for occasional or regular laminating tasks.

Suitable for

• Preserving printed documents and certificates
• Protecting photographs and photo prints
• Finishing menus, signs and ID cards
• Sealing craft projects, educational materials and posters

Key specifications

• Maximum lamination width: 34 cm
• Preheating time: approximately 4 minutes
• External dimensions (W × D × H): 440 mm × 140 mm × 65 mm

How to use

Place the laminator on a stable, level surface and connect it to a suitable power outlet. Select hot or cold mode according to the material to be laminated and allow the device to preheat until it reaches operating temperature (about 4 minutes in hot mode). Insert the document into an appropriate laminating pouch, align it carefully, and feed the sealed edge into the laminator’s entrance. Guide the pouch straight as the machine pulls it through; allow the laminated item to exit fully before handling. For cold lamination, follow pouch manufacturer instructions and avoid heat-sensitive settings.

Recommendations

The Hama cold/hot laminator is intended for normal office and home laminating tasks. Use pouches compatible with a 34 cm width and appropriate thickness for your chosen mode. For best results with hot lamination, ensure items are flat and dry and allow the device to reach full temperature before starting. Perform periodic visual checks of the rollers and keep the feed path clear of debris. Avoid laminating items with glued-on elements or materials that can melt or emit fumes under heat.
