Lamineerapparaat gbc 480HS A3 — hetelamineerapparaat voor documenten tot A3

The gbc 480HS A3 is a hot laminating machine designed for reliable heat lamination of documents and media up to A3 size. It provides a compact solution for protecting printed materials, photographs, signs and office documents by applying a heat-activated film that adds durability, resistance to wear and a smooth finish. Intended for light to moderate use in offices, schools and home workspaces, the device balances consistent lamination performance with a small footprint.

Advantages

The machine uses hot lamination to create long-lasting, moisture-resistant and tear-resistant surfaces, suitable for various paper weights and printed items. Its A3-capable feed supports laminating larger sheets and posters without the need to fold or trim content. The device is compact enough for desktop placement and offers straightforward operation for users familiar with heat-based laminators.

Suitable for

• Protecting office documents such as reports, presentations and signage
• Preserving photographs, certificates and keepsakes
• Producing laminated posters, menus and classroom materials up to A3 size
• Small print shops or home offices that require occasional large-format lamination

Key specifications

• Maximum media width: up to A3 format
• Lamination type: heat-activated (hot) lamination
• Intended use: documents, photos, signs and printed media
• Form factor: compact desktop unit suited for office or home environments

How to use

Prepare the item to be laminated by ensuring it is clean, free of dust and properly aligned inside a compatible heat-activated pouch or roll film sized for A3. Turn on the laminator and allow it to warm up according to the machine's ready indicator before feeding material. Insert the sealed edge of the pouch into the feed opening and guide the pouch steadily until the machine pulls it through; avoid forcing or angling the item. After lamination, lay the finished piece flat on a cool surface to set and avoid immediate bending while the film cools.

Recommendations

Use pouches or films recommended for hot lamination and suitable for the target media thickness. For best results with photos and printed documents, select an appropriate pouch thickness and allow the machine to reach operating temperature. For occasional large items up to A3, feed them slowly and straight to prevent wrinkles; store laminated items flat after processing.
