Hama 00205001 HDMI-kabel 3 m HDMI Type-A (standaard) zwart

The HAMA 00205001 HDMI cable (3 m) is a three-metre HDMI Type A to Type A lead designed for connecting TVs, monitors, AV receivers and other HDMI-compatible devices. It supports full HD and 3D video formats and provides an Audio Return Channel (ARC) to simplify audio routing between display and sound systems. The black cable is intended for home entertainment setups where a longer reach is required without additional adapters.

Advantages

This 3 m HDMI cable offers straightforward, reliable digital audio and video transmission with a data transfer rate up to 10.2 Gbit/s, ensuring smooth playback of high-definition and 3D content. The integrated ARC feature reduces the number of separate audio cables needed. Standard HDMI Type A connectors on both ends provide wide compatibility with TVs, monitors, game consoles and media players. The cable’s black finish provides a low-profile appearance suitable for visible or concealed installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDTVs or projectors to set-top boxes, Blu-ray players and media players
• Linking game consoles or PCs to monitors or TVs for high-definition gaming and video
• Integrating TVs with soundbars or AV receivers using Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Home theatre installations requiring a 3-metre cable run

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, set-top box or game console) and the other connector to the HDMI input on the display or AV receiver. If using ARC, enable the ARC function in the TV and receiver sound settings to allow audio to travel from the TV back to the audio system via the same cable. Ensure connectors are inserted fully and avoid excessive bending near the ends to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable away from power cables and sources of electromagnetic interference. When connecting high-bandwidth sources, verify that connected devices and their HDMI ports support the intended video and audio formats. Store the cable coiled loosely to avoid kinks and replace the cable if physical damage is visible.
