Hama 00205002 HDMI-kabel 1,5 m HDMI Type-A (standaard) zwart

The Hama 00205002 HDMI cable 1.5 m HDMI Type A Standard Black is a 1.5-metre high-speed HDMI lead with HDMI Type A connectors at both ends. It supports data transfer rates up to 10.2 Gbit/s and includes an Audio Return Channel (ARC), enabling audio signals to travel in both directions between compatible TV and audio equipment. The cable is intended for reliable transmission of high-definition video and multichannel digital audio between source devices and displays.

Advantages

This HDMI cable offers a compact 1.5 m length suitable for typical home entertainment setups while minimizing excess cable. Support for up to 10.2 Gbit/s ensures compatibility with Full HD and many higher-bandwidth video and audio formats. The integrated ARC function simplifies connections between TV and soundbar or AV receiver by reducing the need for a separate audio cable. Durable black outer jacket and standard Type A connectors provide wide device compatibility and straightforward installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to set-top boxes, Blu-ray players or streaming devices
• Linking gaming consoles to monitors or televisions
• Connecting projectors to laptops or media players for presentations
• Connecting TVs to soundbars or AV receivers using Audio Return Channel

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, set-top box or game console) and the other connector to the HDMI input on the display device (TV, monitor or projector). If using ARC, plug the cable into the HDMI ARC-labelled port on the TV and the corresponding ARC-capable port on the audio device; enable ARC in device settings if required. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and avoid sharp bends near the cable ends to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this cable for connections within the 1.5 m range and avoid running it alongside power cables to reduce potential interference. Verify that connected devices support the required features (ARC and the desired video/audio formats) and update device firmware if compatibility issues arise.
