Hama 00205205 coax-connector, F-type, 2 stuks

The Hama 00205205 coaxial connector provides two F-type terminations in a compact, silver-finished body. Sold as a pack of 2, these connectors are intended to join coaxial cables or adapt existing cable ends without altering the cable itself. The F-to-F configuration supports common RF, TV and satellite cabling setups where a reliable threaded connection is required.

Advantages

These Hama F-type coaxial connectors offer a simple mechanical solution for extending or repairing coaxial runs while maintaining consistent impedance across the connection point. The silver-coloured finish resists visible wear and helps identify the connector in installations. Supplied in a two-piece pack, they provide a spare or enable multiple connection points without additional purchases.

Suitable for

• Joining two coaxial cables with F-type terminations
• Repairing damaged cable ends on TV or antenna leads
• Temporary or permanent connections in audio/video installations
• Extensions for satellite or cable TV feeds

Key specifications

• Connector type (end A): F-type
• Connector type (end B): F-type
• Quantity in pack: 2 pieces
• Finish / colour: Silver
• Application: Coaxial RF / TV / satellite signal connections

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable ends by ensuring the outer jacket and shielding are trimmed to expose the centre conductor and a clean threaded outer surface. Screw each F-type connector onto the mating F connector or cable end until secure; do not overtighten to avoid deforming the connector or cable. Confirm the centre conductor makes firm contact and that the connection is mechanically stable before routing or securing the cable.

Recommendations

For best signal quality, use connectors on cables with compatible impedance and diameter, and avoid repeated tightening and loosening which can wear threads. Keep connections dry and protected from corrosion in outdoor installations by using appropriate weatherproofing materials.
