Hama 00205253 coaxkabel 5 m F wit

The Hama 00205253 coaxial cable, 5 m in length with F-type connectors on both ends, provides a reliable connection for audio and video devices. Designed for standard SAT antenna and cable installations, the white cable offers a straightforward solution for linking TVs, satellite receivers, set-top boxes and other devices requiring coaxial signal transmission. The construction focuses on maintaining signal integrity over short to medium distances while being simple to install and route in home entertainment setups.

Advantages

The cable supports low-loss transmission for both audio and video signals and uses standard F connectors for broad compatibility with consumer AV equipment. Its 5 m length covers typical distances between wall outlets and devices without excessive slack. The white outer sheath provides a discreet appearance against light-colored walls and furniture and helps protect the inner conductor and shielding from mechanical wear.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to wall outlets or set-top boxes
• Linking satellite receivers to SAT antenna outlets
• Connecting cable TV boxes and tuners
• Short to medium indoor coaxial runs in home entertainment systems

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector type: F male connectors on both ends
• Colour: White
• Cable type: Coaxial for audio/video signal transmission
• Intended use: Indoor SAT/cable TV and AV connections

How to use

Ensure both devices to be connected are powered off before attaching the cable. Screw the F connectors firmly onto the corresponding threaded sockets of the TV, satellite receiver or cable box until hand-tight; avoid excessive force that could damage the connector or device socket. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinching or proximity to high-voltage wiring. After connections are secured, power on devices and select the appropriate input or tuner to verify signal reception.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable length as short as practical for the installation and avoid running it parallel to power lines. Inspect connectors for tightness and visible damage periodically; replace the cable if shielding or the inner conductor appears compromised. Use this coaxial cable for indoor installations and protected environments rather than exposed outdoor runs.
