Hama 00205280 HDMI-kabel 10 m HDMI type A (standaard) zwart

The HAMA HDMI Cable 00205280 10m is a 10-metre high-speed HDMI lead with HDMI Type A connectors on both ends. Designed for connecting TVs, monitors, AV receivers and other HDMI-enabled devices, it supports full high-definition video and audio transmission, including 3D formats, and includes an Audio Return Channel (ARC) for simplified audio routing. The cable's black jacket and standard Type A connectors make it compatible with most home and professional AV setups.

Advantages

This 10 m HDMI cable provides a stable data transfer rate of up to 10.2 Gbit/s, enabling reliable transmission of high-definition video and multichannel audio. The inclusion of ARC reduces the need for extra audio cabling by allowing audio to be sent from the TV back to an AV receiver or soundbar. Both ends use standard HDMI Type A connectors for universal compatibility, and the durable black outer sheath is suited to visible or concealed installation routes.

Suitable for

• Connecting Blu-ray players, game consoles and set-top boxes to HDTVs or projectors
• Linking AV receivers and soundbars via ARC-capable ports
• Extending HDMI signal runs in home cinema and living-room AV setups
• Temporary or permanent installations where a 10 m cable length is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (Standard) on both ends
• Data transfer rate: up to 10.2 Gbit/s
• Supports: 3D video formats
• Feature: Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A plug to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player or console) and the other plug to the HDMI input on the display or AV receiver. If using ARC, connect the cable between the TV's ARC-labeled HDMI port and the ARC-capable input on the receiver or soundbar, then enable ARC in device settings as required. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and avoid tight bending of the cable near the ends to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid kinking. When running the cable through walls or conduits, verify local building codes and ensure suitable ventilation. If longer distances or higher bandwidths are required (for example for 4K60 HDR with greater color depth), consider active or certified higher-bandwidth HDMI solutions.
