Audiokabel Thomson 00132137 3 m TOSLINK zwart

The Thomson 00132137 3m TOSLINK Black audio cable provides a 3-metre optical connection between digital audio devices using TOSLINK connectors on both ends. The cable is fitted with male optical plugs designed for reliable signal transmission and features gold-plated contacts to improve contact quality and resist corrosion. The black outer jacket has a slim profile that integrates easily into home theatre and audio setups.

Advantages

This TOSLINK cable delivers a fully digital optical connection that is immune to electromagnetic interference, ensuring lossless transfer of digital audio signals. The gold-plated contacts enhance durability and maintain consistent contact performance over repeated insertions. With a 3 m length, the cable offers flexibility in device placement without compromising signal integrity. The simple black design fits discreetly with most AV equipment.

How to use

Insert one TOSLINK connector into the optical output of the source device (for example TV, CD player or media streamer) and insert the opposite connector into the optical input of the receiving device (for example soundbar or AV receiver). Ensure connectors are aligned with the optical sockets and push gently until the plug seats. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the ends; allow some slack to prevent strain on the connectors. For troubleshooting, check that both devices are set to use the digital optical audio output and that any required audio formats are supported by the receiving device.

Recommendations

Position the cable so it is not tightly bent or kinked; maintain a gentle curvature to preserve the optical fibre. When routing the cable near other power or signal cables, keep some physical separation to simplify installation and future maintenance. If audio is intermittent, verify source and receiver settings and inspect connector ends for dust, cleaning them with compressed air or a soft non-abrasive cloth if needed.
