Hama HDMI-kabel 2m Type-A Type-C zwart 18 Gbit/s

The Hama HDMI cable 2m Type A Type C Black 18 Gbit/s (MPN 00074258, EAN 4007249742582) is a 2-metre HDMI to mini‑HDMI cable designed for high-speed transfer of digital audio and video between compatible devices. It features gold-plated contacts, shielded conductors and an integrated Audio Return Channel (ARC) and network channel supporting up to 100 Mbit/s, enabling reliable transmission of high-resolution video and multi-channel audio.

Advantages

Gold-plated plug provides low contact resistance for secure signal transmission. Shielded lines and quality materials reduce interference to deliver clear picture and sound. The cable supports 18 Gbit/s bandwidth and extended colour space for compatibility with modern video standards, while ARC allows return of audio without an extra audio cable. An integrated network channel enables network-compatible connections up to 100 Mbit/s.

Suitable for

• Connecting cameras, camcorders or laptops with mini‑HDMI (Type C) to TVs or monitors with standard HDMI (Type A)
• Transmitting 4K video (up to 3840 x 2160 at 24/25/30/50/60 Hz and 4096 x 2160 at 24 Hz)
• Sending multi‑channel audio formats such as Dolby Digital, DTS, TrueHD and dts‑HD
• Use cases requiring ARC (audio return) without an additional audio cable

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type C (mini) plug to the source device (e.g., digital camera, camcorder, laptop) and the HDMI Type A plug to the display device (TV, monitor, projector). Ensure both devices support the desired resolution and audio formats. If using ARC, connect the cable between an ARC‑capable TV and an ARC‑enabled audio device and enable ARC in the devices' settings. Use secure, fully inserted connections to minimise signal loss.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable, keep cable runs away from large power cables or strong electromagnetic sources, and verify device firmware supports the required HDMI features (4K, ARC, network). If encountering handshake or sync issues, try reconnecting both ends and power‑cycling connected devices.
