Hama video-adapter, Mini DisplayPort-stekker - HDMI-bus, Ultra-HD 4K

The Hama 00200332 video cable adapter converts a Mini DisplayPort output to an HDMI input, enabling connection of laptops, tablets or other devices with a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI displays, TVs and projectors. The adapter has a male Mini DisplayPort connector on one end and an HDMI connector on the other, and its compact black housing makes it suitable for mobile and desktop use. It transmits video and audio signals where the source device supports audio output over Mini DisplayPort.

Advantages

This adapter provides a simple, plug-and-play solution for extending or mirroring a Mini DisplayPort-equipped device to an HDMI display without the need for additional drivers. Its compact form factor and single-cable design reduce desk clutter and are convenient for travel. The adapter supports digital transmission, preserving image clarity and audio integrity when the source device outputs both signals. The black finish integrates unobtrusively with most setups.

How to use

Insert the Mini DisplayPort connector into the Mini DisplayPort output on your laptop or tablet and connect an HDMI cable from the adapter's HDMI port to the HDMI input of the display device. Select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. Configure display settings on the source device as needed to extend or mirror the screen; adjust resolution and audio output in the operating system to match the display capabilities. Ensure the source device supports audio over Mini DisplayPort if sound is required.

Recommendations

For best results, use a high-quality HDMI cable that matches the display's supported resolution and refresh rate. Avoid bending or stressing the adapter connectors during use. If no audio is heard, check the source device's audio output settings and verify that the Mini DisplayPort implementation supports audio transmission.
