Microconnect MDPVGA2B Videokabel-adapter 0,15 m Mini DisplayPort VGA (D-Sub) zwart

The Microconnect MDPVGA2B is a 0.15 m video cable adapter that converts a Mini DisplayPort output to a VGA (D-Sub) input. Designed for simple and direct connection between devices with Mini DisplayPort ports and analog VGA displays or projectors, this compact adapter is lightweight and finished in black. It follows RoHS sustainability requirements and provides a practical solution for legacy VGA screens that require an analog signal from modern Mini DisplayPort sources.

Advantages

This adapter offers a compact footprint and a short cable length for tidy setups and minimal desk clutter. Its conversion from digital Mini DisplayPort to analog VGA enables compatibility with older monitors and projectors without requiring a bulky active converter. At approximately 30 g it is easy to carry and install, and the black finish integrates unobtrusively with most equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or computers with Mini DisplayPort to VGA monitors
• Connecting Mini DisplayPort-equipped devices to VGA projectors for presentations
• Temporary workstation setups where an analog VGA display is used

How to use

Insert the Mini DisplayPort plug into the Mini DisplayPort output on your source device and connect the VGA (D-Sub) end to the VGA cable of the display or directly to the VGA input of a monitor or projector. Ensure both devices are powered on and select the correct input on the display. If the connected display requires manual resolution or refresh rate adjustments, set them in the source device’s display settings to match the capabilities of the VGA display.

Recommendations

For reliable results, use this adapter with equipment that supports passive Mini DisplayPort-to-VGA conversion and match the display resolution to the capabilities of the VGA monitor or projector. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and disconnect by holding the connector housing rather than pulling the cable.
