Handheld barcodescanner ALLNET ALL_POS_SC1228B, 2D, draadloos 2,4 GHz/BT-ondersteuning, gewicht 320 g

The ALLNET ALL_POS_SC1228B is a handheld 2D barcode reader engineered for wireless, portable scanning of 1D and 2D barcodes in retail, warehouse and logistics environments. The device pairs with a 2.4 GHz USB dongle and also supports Bluetooth, enabling cable-free operation with POS terminals, PCs and mobile hosts. Compact and lightweight at approximately 320 g, the scanner is intended for point-of-sale scanning, inventory control and mobile data collection where reliable barcode decoding and flexible placement of the host device are required.

Advantages

The scanner offers cordless operation through a 2.4 GHz USB dongle and Bluetooth support, allowing operators to scan across counters, shelving and workstations without cable constraints. Its 2D imaging engine decodes both linear and matrix codes, improving read rates for standard and degraded labels. The compact form factor and light weight support frequent handling, while rechargeable battery operation sustains tasks during shifts. Simple plug-and-play integration with common operating systems reduces setup time and the wireless range supports flexible positioning of host devices.

Suitable for

• Retail point-of-sale scanning of product barcodes
• Inventory counting and stockroom management
• Logistics and shipping label verification
• Warehouse picking and order fulfilment
• Mobile scanning across multiple workstations

How to use

Insert the supplied 2.4 GHz USB dongle into a free USB port on the host device and allow the host to recognize the receiver. Power on the scanner and ensure it is within the effective wireless range of the dongle or paired via Bluetooth if required. Aim the scanner at the barcode and press the trigger; the imaging engine will capture and decode the code and then transmit the data to the host as keyboard input or serial data depending on the configured interface. Recharge the battery when the device indicates low power and store the scanner in a dry, secure location when not in use.

Recommendations

Position the USB dongle where it has a clear line-of-sight to the scanner and avoid placing it near large metal objects or other wireless transmitters. For reliable decoding, align the scanner window with the barcode plane and hold the scanner steady during capture. Keep the scanner window clean and follow the manufacturer’s charging guidance to maintain battery health.
