Handheld barcodescanner Honeywell Voyager 1200g

Built on the proven platform of the Honeywell Voyager® family, the Voyager 1200g is a single-line laser scanner designed for reliable reading of linear barcodes, including damaged or low-quality codes. The device offers presentation scanning with updated object detection and automatic in-stand detection and configuration, combining strong scan performance with a compact ergonomic design. The scanner supports multiple interfaces and includes CodeGate® technology for controlled barcode selection.

Advantages

The Voyager 1200g maintains productivity by reading poor-quality and damaged barcodes, reducing the need for manual data entry. Class-leading presentation scanning and automatic in-stand detection increase throughput by enabling hands-free operation when placed in the stand. Tool-free stand assembly and automatic interface detection simplify setup and deployment. The ergonomic, lightweight housing with an integrated finger groove improves operator comfort during extended use, while multi-interface support (USB, keyboard wedge, RS232) lowers integration costs.

Key specifications

• Scan type: single-line laser
• Supported barcodes: linear (1D), including poor-quality and damaged codes
• Presentation scanning: object detection with automatic in-stand detection and configuration
• Interfaces: USB, keyboard wedge, RS232 (multi-interface)
• Special features: CodeGate® technology for user-controlled transmission
• Design: ergonomic, lightweight with integrated finger groove

How to use

Assemble the stand without tools and connect the scanner to the host using the appropriate interface cable; the scanner will auto-detect and configure the interface. For hands-free operation, place the scanner in the stand so it detects the object and begins presentation scanning automatically. Aim the scanner so the laser line crosses the barcode and press the trigger or position the barcode in front of the scanner for CodeGate® operation to confirm the correct code before transmission.
