Handheld barcodescanner Honeywell Voyager 1200g laser draagbaar USB, enkellijnlaser, USB-interface

The Honeywell Voyager 1200g is a handheld barcode scanner with a linear imager and USB wired connection. Designed for general-purpose scanning, it decodes common 1D barcodes including GS1 DataBar and supports a minimum symbol width of 3.5 mil. The device is compact and lightweight, measuring 18 cm x 6.6 cm x 9.7 cm and weighing 125 g, making it suitable for retail, logistics, and mobile point-of-sale environments.

Advantages

The Voyager 1200g offers single-pass linear imaging at up to 100 lines per second, delivering reliable decoding of damaged or poorly printed 1D barcodes. Its wired USB interface ensures consistent power and data transfer without the need for batteries. The scanner supports CodeGate functionality for controlled scanning and provides good working range with a maximum useful distance of approximately 28.1 cm.

Suitable for

• Retail checkout and point-of-sale terminals
• Inventory and stock management
• Light logistics and shipping verification

How to use

Connect the Voyager 1200g to a host device using the supplied USB cable; the scanner receives power and transmits decoded barcode data over the USB interface. Present the barcode to the scanner window at an appropriate distance (within the stated maximum) and orientation. Use the CodeGate feature if you need to confirm and control when a decoded value is sent to the host. Follow any host software prompts for configuration or programming of symbologies.

Recommendations

For best decoding performance, align the barcode within the scanner’s field of view, keep the barcode surface clean and free of glare, and position the device so the printed bars are roughly perpendicular to the scan lines. Use USB connection to ensure continuous power and avoid wireless pairing steps.
