The HP 1500i Presen handheld presentation scanner is designed for retail and point-of-sale environments where rapid, reliable barcode capture is required. Its USB connectivity provides plug-and-play installation with many POS systems and PCs, simplifying setup and integration. The presentation-capable design enables hands-free scanning when placed in a stand while still allowing quick handheld use for larger or awkward items.

Recommendations

Place the scanner on a stable stand near the checkout area for high-volume, hands-free operation and switch to handheld mode for bulky or irregularly shaped items.
