Handschroevendraaier Gedore 2824450 140 g

The Gedore 2824450 manual screwdriver is a precision hand tool weighing 140 g, designed for tasks requiring access to recessed screws and accurate torque control. It features a fully insulated blade and meets EN 60900/IEC 60900 standards for VDE insulation up to 1000 V, combining electrical safety with a compact blade profile for work in confined screw shafts.

Advantages

Individually tested and VDE-certified for insulation up to 1000 V, the screwdriver provides full mechanical and electrical protection with an ultra-small blade diameter that still retains strength thanks to Gedore molybdenum-vanadium-Plus tempered steel. The Power-Grip3 three-component handle with hanging hole offers an ergonomic shape for precise, fatigue-reduced operation, and a positive-fit joint between handle and blade ensures efficient force transmission. The type of drive is marked on the end of the handle for quick identification.

How to use

Select the screwdriver by matching the drive type marked on the handle to the screw head. Before use on live circuits, verify the tool's VDE insulation condition and ensure it is free from visible damage. Use the ergonomic Power-Grip3 handle to apply controlled torque; the positive-fit joint transfers force efficiently to the blade. For screws located deep in shafts, the screwdriver's ultra-small blade diameter allows access while maintaining mechanical stability.

Recommendations

Inspect the insulated blade and handle before each use; do not use if insulation is damaged. Use this VDE-certified screwdriver only within its rated voltage (up to 1000 V) and follow applicable safety procedures when working on electrical installations.
