Hangslot ABUS 70IB/35 kd. 35mm messing lichaam met sleutel

The ABUS 70IB/35 kd. is a 35 mm padlock with a solid brass body and a key-operated precision pin cylinder. Designed for use indoors and outdoors, the lock combines corrosion-resistant materials, a sealed locking mechanism and impact-absorbing plastic coating to protect both the mechanism and sensitive surfaces.

Advantages

The padlock features a solid brass lock body, a stainless-steel shackle and a sealed lock body with a protective cap and drainage channels that prevent water and dirt from reaching the locking mechanism. An impact-absorbing plastic casing protects painted or delicate surfaces from scratches while internal components are made from rust-free materials for enhanced durability.

Suitable for

• Securing gates and doors
• Locking storage units and lockers
• Outdoor applications in wet or marine environments
• Protecting items where surface protection is required (painted or sensitive surfaces)

Key specifications

• Body material: solid brass
• Shackle: stainless steel with plastic coating
• Lock type: key-operated, precision pin cylinder
• Size: 35 mm
• Finish/colour: black/blue plastic coating
• Features: sealed body with protective cap and drainage channels, double bolted, paracentric key profile

How to use

Insert the key into the cylinder and turn to retract or engage the double-bolted shackle. Ensure the protective cap is closed after use to keep water and dirt out of the sealed lock body. For outdoor use, mount the lock to the fixed staple or hasp so the shackle is fully engaged before removing the key.

Recommendations

For best performance outdoors, rinse off heavy salt deposits and debris periodically and operate the key a few times after cleaning to distribute any lubricant. Avoid forcing the key if resistance is felt; inspect the protective cap and drainage channels regularly to ensure they remain clear.
