Hardcase Rivacase 5131 zwart 15,6 inch met handgreep en schouderriem

The Rivacase 5131 black hardshell case is designed to protect laptops with displays up to 15.6 inches. Constructed from EVA and polyurethane (PU), the case combines a rigid outer shell with a soft inner lining to reduce impact and surface abrasion. It includes an integrated carrying handle and an adjustable shoulder strap to support different transport preferences while maintaining a compact, monochromatic appearance. The case weighs approximately 0.78 kg, offering a lightweight solution for everyday commuting and travel.

Advantages

The rigid EVA shell resists compression and shields the device from knocks and light drops, while the PU exterior provides water resistance and a clean, uniform finish. The internal padding and snug fit help prevent scratches and reduce movement inside the case. A reinforced zipper secures the contents, and the carrying handle plus shoulder strap offer versatile carrying options without adding significant bulk.

Suitable for

• Students transporting a 15.6-inch laptop between home and campus
• Commuters who need lightweight, protective everyday transport
• Business travelers seeking a low-profile case for short trips
• Anyone looking for a protective sleeve that can be carried by hand or over the shoulder

Key specifications

• Compatible maximum screen size: 15.6 inches
• Case type: hardshell with inner padding
• Primary materials: EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) and Polyurethane (PU)
• Weight: approximately 0.78 kg
• Features: carrying handle, adjustable shoulder strap, reinforced zipper

How to use

Place the laptop into the case with the lid closed so the device rests securely against the internal padding. Close the zipper fully to ensure the edges are sealed and attach the shoulder strap if hands-free carrying is needed. Use the handle for short carries or when placing the case into other luggage. For best protection, avoid overfilling the case with additional bulky items that could press against the laptop.

Recommendations

For everyday protection, store only the laptop and a few slim accessories such as a charger or documents. Clean the PU exterior with a damp cloth and allow it to dry; avoid abrasive cleaners. When not in use, keep the case in a dry environment and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to preserve material integrity.
