HDD Western Digital 6 TB 3,5 inch Serial ATA III WD64PURZ

WD Purple HDDs are engineered for continuous 24x7 video surveillance recording. The Western Digital 6 TB 3.5" Serial ATA III WD64PURZ provides 6 TB capacity, a 3.5-inch form factor, 5400 RPM rotational speed and a 256 MB cache, offering surveillance-class storage tested for compatibility with a wide range of NVR and security systems. The drive is designed to tolerate higher temperature fluctuations and equipment vibrations common in always-on surveillance environments, and includes AllFrame™ technology to help reduce frame loss and improve video playback.

Advantages

The WD64PURZ is optimized for continuous write workloads typical of surveillance systems, with firmware and mechanical design that address heat and vibration in multi-drive NVR enclosures. A 256 MB buffer and SATA III interface provide stable data transfer, while the 5400 RPM speed balances power efficiency and reliability for long-term operation. Compatibility testing with security systems helps ensure reliable video capture and playback.

Suitable for

• Network video recorders (NVR) and DVR systems
• Commercial and residential surveillance installations
• Multi-drive surveillance arrays and enclosed storage cabinets
