HDMI-A-adapter ShiverPeaks 10-01052 90° links, metalen behuizing, ondersteunt tot 8K

The ShiverPeaks HDMI-A adapter 90° left (metal housing) redirects an HDMI connection to a left-angled orientation to reduce cable protrusion and relieve strain in confined installations. The adapter fits standard HDMI-A ports and is specified to support resolutions up to 8K, making it suitable for high-resolution displays and media devices while offering a compact, durable connection point in tight spaces.

Advantages

The metal housing increases mechanical durability and helps protect the HDMI connector from bending and accidental impact. The 90° left angle reduces the required clearance behind devices, preventing cable kinking and improving cable management. Support for up to 8K resolution ensures compatibility with modern high-bandwidth video signals and preserves image quality when used with appropriate cables and source/display equipment.

Suitable for

• Wall-mounted monitors and TVs with limited rear clearance
• Media players, set-top boxes and game consoles placed close to walls or inside cabinets
• Desktop setups where a low-profile HDMI connection is preferred
• Temporary or permanent installations requiring cable strain relief

Key specifications

• Connector orientation: 90° left-angled HDMI-A adapter
• Housing: metal for enhanced durability
• Video capability: supports up to 8K resolution (with compatible source, cable and display)
• Form factor: low-profile inline adapter for space-saving connections

How to use

Insert the adapter’s HDMI-A plug into the HDMI receptacle on your display or source device so the angled end directs the cable to the left. Connect a standard HDMI cable to the adapter’s socket and ensure it is fully seated. Verify that the connected devices are powered and set to the correct input to confirm signal transmission. For best results with high-resolution signals, use HDMI cables rated for the required bandwidth and avoid excessive bending at the connector points.

Recommendations

Use the adapter when rear clearance is limited or when cable strain protection is needed. Pair it with high-quality HDMI cables appropriate for 4K/8K signals, avoid subjecting the adapter to repeated heavy bending, and place devices on stable surfaces to minimize mechanical stress on the connection.
