HDMI-adapter HDMI-A naar HDMI-D ShiverPeaks BS77413-W

The ShiverPeaks BS77413-W is a compact HDMI-A to HDMI-D cable gender changer designed to connect devices that use different HDMI connector types. With a white housing and gold-plated contacts, this adapter provides reliable contact quality and a low-profile solution for adapting HDMI cable ends without replacing cables or altering device ports. It is intended for simple signal routing tasks where a change of connector shape is required.

Advantages

The gold-plated contacts help maintain consistent signal transfer and resist corrosion over time. The small, lightweight form factor minimises strain on connected cables and ports while occupying minimal space behind equipment. The white finish enables discreet integration with light-coloured devices and environments. The adapter provides a straightforward mechanical conversion between standard HDMI-A and the smaller HDMI-D connector.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDMI-A cables to devices with HDMI-D (micro/mini) ports
• Temporary or permanent adaptations in home AV setups
• Office workstations with mixed HDMI connector types
• AV installations where replacing cables is impractical

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI-A to HDMI-D gender changer
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Housing colour: white
• Form factor: compact, low-profile adapter

How to use

Insert the HDMI-A end of an HDMI cable into the adapter's HDMI-A receptacle and then connect the adapter's HDMI-D plug to the target device's HDMI-D port (or vice versa, depending on connector orientation). Ensure connectors are aligned and seated gently to avoid bending pins or stressing ports. No software or power is required; the adapter functions purely as a mechanical and electrical interface between different HDMI connector sizes.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the adapter with cables and devices that conform to HDMI specifications and avoid excessive force or frequent angular strain at the connection points. If high-bandwidth features (such as 4K at high refresh rates or advanced audio formats) are required, verify that the connected cable and devices support the desired HDMI version and signal bandwidth to ensure compatibility.
