HDMI AOC hybride glasvezelkabel DIGITUS UHD 8K 100 m

DIGITUS HDMI AOC hybrid fiber optic cable, 100 m length, provides lossless transmission of uncompressed video and audio signals up to 8K @ 60 Hz (UHD-2) with a bandwidth of up to 48 Gbps. The cable combines active fiber optic technology with copper conductors to enable long-distance HDMI signal delivery without latency and with high resistance to electromagnetic interference. Its compact construction (outer diameter 4.8 mm) and small bending radius make it suitable for controlled installation on a cable drum and flexible routing in professional AV and fixed installations.

Advantages

The hybrid design pairs OM3 optical fiber with copper conductors to maintain high signal integrity over 100 m while supporting HDMI 2.1 features such as HDR, HDCP 2.2, eARC, CEC and EDID. Active electronics ensure up to 48 Gbps transmission rate and zero frame delay for real-time video and audio. The cable is insensitive to EMI, supports high-quality audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, and requires no additional drivers thanks to plug-and-play operation.

Suitable for

• High-resolution home cinema installations and media rooms
• Conference rooms and meeting spaces requiring reliable long-run HDMI
• Digital signage and public display systems over extended distances
• Professional AV installations, fixed rack-to-display connections
• Broadcast or post-production setups needing uncompressed 8K signal paths

How to use

Connect the DIGITUS HDMI AOC cable between an HDMI source and an HDMI display using the standard HDMI connectors. No drivers or external power supplies are required for typical setups; the active components are powered via the HDMI interface. For best results, unwind the cable from the drum without creating kinks, respect the minimum bending radius of 20 mm, and route the cable away from strong sources of mechanical stress. The cable supports plug-and-play operation and automatic EDID negotiation to establish optimal resolution and audio settings.

Recommendations

For reliable 8K performance, ensure both source and display support HDMI 2.1 features and HDCP 2.2. Avoid sharp bends and tight staples; use gentle clamps or cable management trays when securing the cable. In permanent installations, test the full signal path at the target resolution and refresh rate before final routing. The cable is optimized for long runs where EMI immunity and high bandwidth are required.
