HDMI High Speed-kabel + Ethernet VALUE 7,5m

The VALUE HDMI High Speed Cable + Ethernet 7.5m is a male-to-male HDMI Type A lead designed to connect TVs, projectors, monitors and AV receivers over a longer distance without active amplification. With a 7.5 metre length and a slim black jacket, this cable carries high-speed digital video and audio signals while also supporting an Ethernet channel for compatible devices. The cable’s LSOH (low smoke, zero halogen) construction reduces toxic fumes in case of fire, making it suitable for indoor installations where material safety is a consideration.

Advantages

This HDMI cable supports high-speed data transmission and includes an Ethernet channel for network-capable HDMI equipment, enabling audio, video and network signals over a single cable. The 7.5 m length allows flexible placement of displays and source devices in living rooms, meeting rooms and classrooms. LSOH materials minimise smoke and halogen release in enclosed spaces. Standard HDMI Type A connectors at both ends provide broad compatibility with consumer electronics that use full-size HDMI ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting Blu-ray players, media streamers and set-top boxes to TVs and AV receivers
• Linking laptops or desktop graphics outputs to external monitors or projectors for presentations
• Wiring home theatre systems where an Ethernet-capable HDMI link is desired
• Installing displays in classrooms, conference rooms or meeting spaces requiring a longer passive cable

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A (male-to-male)
• Signal support: High Speed HDMI with Ethernet
• Jacket material: LSOH (low smoke, zero halogen)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a player, console or computer) and the other end to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, projector or monitor). Ensure both devices are powered off when plugging in the cable to avoid hot-plug issues; power the devices afterwards and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. If the connected devices support HDMI Ethernet Channel, enable the feature in device network settings where applicable. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from high-interference power lines.

Recommendations

For reliable performance over 7.5 m, avoid tight loops and kinks; use gentle curves and secure the cable with non-compressive ties. If you experience signal drop or reduced resolution, verify device HDMI settings, try an alternative HDMI port or use a shorter cable for testing. For permanent installations in public or commercial buildings, follow local regulations regarding cable routing and fire-safety requirements when using LSOH cabling.
