HDMI-kabel Neutrik NKHDMI-5, 5 m, vernikkelde aansluitingen

Neutrik NKHDMI-5 is a 5-meter HDMI cable with nickel-plated connectors designed for reliable audio and video signal transmission. The cable provides a secure mechanical connection and corrosion-resistant contacts to maintain stable performance in home, office and professional AV setups. Its medium-length design allows flexible placement of displays and source devices while preserving signal integrity for high-definition content.

Advantages

The nickel-plated connectors resist corrosion and ensure consistent contact quality over time. A robust connector shell and strain relief provide mechanical stability, reducing the risk of accidental disconnection or cable damage. The cable construction supports clear digital audio and video transfer across a practical 5 m length, minimizing the need for repeaters or extenders in typical installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs, monitors and projectors to media players, set-top boxes or computers
• Home theater and living room AV installations
• Office conference rooms and presentation setups
• Professional AV racks and on-stage equipment requiring medium-length HDMI runs

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector plating: nickel-plated contacts
• Connector type: HDMI standard plug to plug
• Signal type: digital audio and video (HDMI)
• Use environment: indoor home, office or professional AV use

How to use

Connect one HDMI plug to the output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, streaming box or computer) and the other plug to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the connection is secure. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and do not place heavy objects on the cable. For best results, route the cable away from large electrical equipment to reduce potential interference with signal transmission.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, verify both connected devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate. Inspect connector contacts periodically and replace the cable if physical damage or intermittent signal loss occurs. When installing in fixed AV racks or wall runs, allow extra cable length for strain relief and service access.
