Its black jacket and standard HDMI Type A connectors make it suitable for connecting AV receivers, TVs, projectors and gaming consoles in home theatre and professional display installations.

Advantages

This 40 m HDMI cable combines extended reach with a high data transfer rate to maintain signal integrity across long runs. Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and ensure reliable electrical contact. The standardized HDMI Type A connectors provide broad compatibility with consumer and professional HDMI-equipped devices. Support for 3D content and multi-channel audio enables use in multimedia and entertainment setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs, projectors and AV receivers where cables must span long distances
• Home theatre installations and living-room media setups
• Gaming consoles and accessories requiring stable HDMI connections
• Conference rooms or classrooms with wall-mounted displays

Key specifications

• Cable length: 40 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (Standard) on both ends
• Colour: Black
• Data transfer rate: 17.819 Gbit/s
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Supported formats: 3D video and multi-channel audio

How to use

Attach one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, set-top box or game console) and connect the other HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI input on the display device (TV, projector or AV receiver). Ensure connectors are fully inserted to establish a reliable connection. Avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable along the run and secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties to prevent strain on connectors. For best results, route the cable away from large sources of electrical interference.

Recommendations

For long-distance HDMI runs, confirm that both source and display devices support the necessary video resolution and audio formats. If signal degradation occurs at full length, consider using an active HDMI extender, an HDMI signal booster, or a networked HDMI solution to maintain image and sound quality.
