HDMI-kabel ShiverPeaks SP77478-15 15 m

The ShiverPeaks SP77478-15 is a 15 m HDMI Type A cable with male connectors on both ends, designed to transmit high-quality digital audio and video signals over a long reach. Gold-plated contacts support reliable connectivity and reduced corrosion, while the cable's construction is suitable for carrying 3D video signals and standard HDMI formats. The blue outer jacket provides a distinctive appearance that helps identify the cable in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

This HDMI cable combines a 15 metre length with Type A male-to-male terminations to bridge longer distances between AV equipment without relying on extenders. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance, contributing to stable signal transmission. The cable is compatible with common HDMI source and display devices and its visible blue jacket simplifies routing and identification in home or professional setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDTVs to set-top boxes, Blu-ray players, or media streamers
• Linking gaming consoles to TVs or projectors
• Connecting laptops or PCs to external displays or projectors for presentations
• Home theatre and AV systems requiring a 15 m HDMI connection

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 metres
• Connector type: HDMI Type A male to HDMI Type A male
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Signal support: compatible with HDMI digital audio/video formats including 3D content
• Outer jacket colour: blue

How to use

Insert one HDMI Type A male connector into the HDMI output of the source device (for example a set-top box, Blu-ray player, PC, or gaming console) and insert the other end into the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor, or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid signal spikes. After connection, power on the devices and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. If using long cable runs, verify the display resolution and refresh rate settings to confirm full compatibility.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends and extreme kinking of the cable along its length; route it away from high-power electrical cables and sources of interference. Use secure connector seating to maintain contact integrity and periodically check connectors for dust or debris. If you require distances beyond 15 metres or need higher bandwidth features, consider active HDMI solutions or fibre HDMI alternatives.
