HDMI-splitter Lindy 2-poorts HDMI 18G splitter met audio en downscaling

The Lindy 2 Port HDMI 18G Splitter with Audio and Downscaling distributes a single HDMI source to two HDMI displays simultaneously while providing separate digital (optical) and analogue (3.5 mm) audio outputs. It supports resolutions up to 4K (4096 x 2160) at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma and 8-bit colour, and includes an integrated downscale switch to output Full HD to older displays. The unit is metal-bodied, compact (120 x 14.4 x 63 mm), and operates from a 5 V, 1 A supply.

Advantages

This splitter delivers high-bandwidth HDMI 18G video to two screens at once while allowing independent audio extraction through optical and 3.5 mm outputs. It supports full 4K60 4:4:4 8-bit video for accurate colour reproduction and can downscale input to Full HD for compatibility with legacy displays. The compact metal enclosure and low weight make the device easy to install in retail, events, or education settings.

Suitable for

• Dual-display digital signage in retail or public spaces
• Event venues showing the same live video feed on two screens
• Trade shows and educational presentations with multiscreen output
• Setups requiring audio extraction for non-HDMI amplifiers or soundbars

How to use

Connect the source device to the splitter's HDMI input and attach up to two HDMI displays to the output ports. If required, select the downscale switch to force a Full HD output for older screens. Use the optical or 3.5 mm audio outputs to feed a soundbar or amplifier that does not accept HDMI audio. Power the unit from a compatible 5 V, 1 A adapter and verify that connected displays are set to the correct HDMI input.

Recommendations

Use high-quality HDMI cables rated for HDMI 2.0/18G to maintain 4K60 4:4:4 signal integrity; when connecting long cable runs or older displays, enable downscaling as needed to ensure stable playback and optimal compatibility.
