HDMI-stekker ShiverPeaks 77405-S metaal voor zelfmontage, 4K2K-compatibel

ShiverPeaks 77405-S metal self-assembly HDMI connector is a user-installable plug designed for terminating or repairing HDMI cables for AV installations, home theater systems, monitors and professional video equipment. The robust metal housing and support for 4K2K signals make it suitable for high-definition video transfer where a durable, conductive connector is required. This connector is intended for those who need a reliable HDMI plug for custom-length cables or on-site repairs and installations.

Advantages

The metal housing provides mechanical strength and improved shielding compared with basic plastic plugs, helping to reduce interference in signal transmission. Self-assembly design allows technicians and experienced users to crimp and secure conductors to the HDMI contact set, enabling tailored cable lengths and quick replacement of damaged connectors. Compatibility with 4K2K video ensures support for high-resolution formats commonly used in modern displays and AV equipment.

Suitable for

• Repairing damaged HDMI cable ends in home theater and professional AV setups
• Assembling custom-length HDMI cables for monitors, TVs and projectors
• On-site installations where a rugged metal connector is preferred
• Applications requiring support for 4K video signals

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI male plug for cable termination
• Housing: metal construction for improved durability and shielding
• Assembly: self-assembly design for manual termination
• Video support: compatible with 4K2K high-definition signals
• Color: black finish on metal housing

How to use

Prepare the HDMI cable by stripping the outer jacket and arranging the internal conductors according to the HDMI contact layout. Insert the prepared conductors into the contact set and ensure each conductor makes firm contact. Secure the contacts and assemble the metal housing around the terminated plug, fastening any screws or clamps provided to lock the cable in place. Test the assembled cable with source and display equipment to confirm proper video and audio transmission.

Recommendations

Use appropriate cable stripping and crimping tools and follow ESD and safety precautions when assembling the connector. Verify conductor order and contact seating before closing the housing. For optimal signal integrity, use cable types and gauge recommended for high-resolution HDMI signals and avoid excessive bending near the termination.
