Electricians and maintenance technicians working on cable harnesses and connections rely on this heat shrink tubing to insulate and seal splices. The HIS-A dispenser box keeps the 5-meter length clean and tangle-free, ready for use in workshops or on site.

Key specifications

• Supplied diameter: 6 mm, recovers to 2 mm
• Shrink ratio: 3:1
• Adhesive-lined for environmental sealing
• Material: cross-linked polyolefin
• Colour: black
• Length: 5 m in dispenser box
• Operating temperature: -55 °C to +110 °C
• Minimum shrink temperature: +100 °C
• Dielectric strength: >15 kV/mm
• Self-extinguishing

Why choose it

The internal adhesive melts during shrinking, creating a moisture-resistant barrier that protects connections from corrosion and strain. The 3:1 shrink ratio allows the tubing to conform to irregular shapes, while the polyolefin material offers good UV and chemical resistance.

Ideal use cases

• Insulating and sealing electrical splices
• Providing strain relief for cable terminations
• Protecting components from abrasion and moisture

Good to know

The dispenser box simplifies storage and dispensing, reducing waste and keeping the tubing clean until application.
