Krimpkous DeLOCK 18939 zwart 5 m 1,2 cm

The DeLOCK 18939 heat shrink tube is a 5 m long polyolefin sleeve with a maximum diameter of 1.2 cm. Designed to insulate and protect cables, wires and electrical connections, the black tube shrinks when heated to form a tight, durable covering that resists mechanical damage and environmental effects.

Advantages

The polyolefin construction provides flexibility and electrical insulation while maintaining resistance to abrasion and weathering. Its 5 m length and 1.2 cm maximum diameter allow use on a variety of cable sizes. The black color offers a discreet finish and helps conceal bundled wires.

Suitable for

• Insulating electrical splices and soldered joints
• Protecting cable ends and connectors
• Bundling and organizing wiring in installations
• Repairing damaged outer insulation

How to use

Cut a suitable length of heat shrink tube and slide it over the cable or connection to be insulated. Apply heat evenly using a heat gun, lighter or other controlled heat source until the tube shrinks uniformly and conforms tightly to the cable. Allow the sleeve to cool and inspect the fit to ensure a complete seal and proper insulation.

Recommendations

Use controlled heat sources and heat evenly to avoid overheating. Choose a tube diameter that provides adequate shrinkage over the cable before heating. For electrical safety, ensure connections are insulated and secured before use and follow local electrical codes.
