Krimpkous-set DeLOCK 308 stuks zwart veelkleurig polyolefine

This DeLOCK set includes 308 polyolefin heat shrink tubes and solder wire connectors in black and multicolour, designed to protect, insulate and mechanically reinforce cables, electrical tubes and wire joints. The assortment offers multiple tube diameters and connector sizes for flexible use in electrical and electronic repairs.

Advantages

The kit contains heat shrink tubes with six different diameters and two lengths, plus solder wire connectors in four sizes, enabling a wide range of applications. Heat shrink tubes shrink to approximately half their original diameter (2:1 shrinkage ratio) when heated, providing tight insulation. Solder wire connectors form a waterproof, mechanically robust joint after heating and cooling, offering high tensile strength and tear resistance. A practical storage box keeps the components clean and organized for repeated use.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting electrical wires and cable splices
• Repairing automotive, marine and household electrical connections
• Organizing and marking wiring with multicolour tubes
• Mechanical reinforcement of soldered joints and cable ends

How to use

Select an appropriately sized heat shrink tube or solder wire connector for the wire diameter. For heat shrink tubes, slide the tube over the cable or joint and apply hot air (e.g., a heat gun) evenly until the tube reduces to about half its diameter and fits tightly. For solder wire connectors, insert stripped wire ends into the solder sleeve, hold them in position and apply heat until the solder melts and the tubing contracts; allow the joint to cool so the waterproof insulation sets. Ensure proper ventilation and avoid direct skin contact with hot surfaces.

Recommendations

Use a regulated heat gun for controlled heating and test on a spare piece to determine the correct distance and temperature. Choose connector and tube sizes that provide full coverage without excessive stretching to ensure reliable insulation and mechanical strength.
