Krimpkous DeLOCK 20791 2 m x 6 mm zwart

The DeLOCK Heat shrink tube 20791 is a 2 m long, 6 mm diameter fabric sleeve made from polyester and polyolefin. With a 2:1 shrinkage ratio and black finish, it provides abrasion and scuff protection as well as electrical insulation for bundles of wires and cables while maintaining flexibility and durability.

Advantages

This fabric heat shrink tube offers very good shrinkage behaviour, reducing to half its original diameter when heated with a hot air gun. The woven fabric structure gives the sleeve high abrasion and scuff resistance while remaining flexible. The combination of polyester and polyolefin materials ensures reliable insulation and long-term mechanical protection for cable runs.

Suitable for

• Bundling and protecting electrical wires and cables
• Use in engine compartments and other high-wear environments
• Cooling water lines and hydraulic lines where abrasion resistance is required

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 20791
• Length: 2 m
• Initial diameter: 6 mm
• Shrinkage ratio: 2:1 (shrinks to approx. half diameter)
• Material: Polyester, Polyolefin

How to use

Cut the heat shrink tube to the required length and slide it over the cable bundle. Apply heat evenly with a hot air gun until the sleeve contracts to the required fit; it will shrink to about half its original diameter. Allow the sleeve to cool and verify that it provides secure mechanical protection and insulation around the cables.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment when applying heat and avoid direct flame. For best results, apply heat evenly and monitor shrinkage to prevent overheating of nearby components.
