Hold the nozzle at a safe distance from the workpiece and move evenly over the surface to apply heat gradually. For tasks such as paint stripping or adhesive softening, keep the gun moving to avoid overheating a single point. After use, switch off the tool, allow it to cool, remove the battery if required and store the gun in the supplied case.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye protection) and ensure adequate ventilation when working with heated coatings or adhesives. Keep the hot nozzle away from flammable materials and allow the tool to cool completely before storage. Follow Steinel’s battery handling and charging instructions to ensure safe operation.
