Hikvision DS-2CFS04/4G(2,8 mm) 4G LTE solar-bewakingscamera met 2,8-mm-objectief en zonnepaneel

The Hikvision DS-2CFS04/4G(2.8mm) is a solar-powered 4G LTE bullet camera with a fixed 2.8mm wide-angle lens, engineered for outdoor surveillance where wired power or network connections are unavailable. The integrated solar panel supplies energy for continuous operation while the cellular modem provides remote video transmission and monitoring over 4G LTE networks. Weather-resistant housing and a compact form factor make this camera suitable for perimeter monitoring, rural properties, and temporary or mobile installations.

Advantages

This camera combines autonomous power and cellular connectivity to enable off-grid installation without trenching or cabling. The 2.8mm lens offers a broad field of view for covering wide outdoor areas, and the integrated solar panel reduces maintenance related to battery replacement when installed with appropriate sunlight exposure. Rugged construction and outdoor-rated sealing provide resistance to rain and dust, while the LTE link supports remote access for live view and event notification.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and fence line monitoring at properties without mains power
• Rural and agricultural sites requiring remote surveillance
• Temporary construction sites and event areas with short-term security needs
• Mobile or remote assets where wired network access is impractical

Key specifications

• Optical design: fixed 2.8mm wide-angle lens
• Connectivity: 4G LTE cellular modem for remote video transmission
• Power: integrated solar panel for self-sustaining operation (solar charging)
• Form factor: bullet camera with weather-resistant housing for outdoor use
• Mounting: wall or pole mountable compact design

How to use

Mount the camera in a location with a clear view of the monitored area and direct exposure to sunlight for the solar panel. Ensure the camera has adequate 4G signal strength at the site or use an external antenna if supported and necessary. Configure cellular connectivity and remote access using the camera’s setup interface or companion app, then adjust the camera angle to cover the desired scene. Verify that power and network indicators show normal operation before leaving the installation unattended.

Recommendations

Position the camera so the solar panel faces true south (in the northern hemisphere) or true north (in the southern hemisphere) with minimal shading to maximise charging efficiency. Periodically inspect the panel for dirt or debris and clean as needed. For reliable remote monitoring, confirm stable 4G coverage at the chosen site and set up event notifications or scheduled checks to ensure continuous surveillance.
