Hoofdtelefoon Beyerdynamic EDT 990 VB — velours oorkussens, gesloten, zwart

The Beyerdynamic EDT 990 VB closed-back headphones combine a durable black exterior with velour ear pads designed for extended comfort. Built for professional and home use, these headphones provide balanced audio reproduction and effective passive sound isolation. The closed-back construction reduces background noise leakage and improves focus during monitoring or casual listening sessions, while the velour pads promote breathability and reduce ear fatigue during long periods of use.

Advantages

The velour ear pads offer soft contact and long-term comfort without compromising acoustic performance. Closed-back design delivers controlled bass response and limits sound leakage to the environment. The headphones are engineered for even frequency balance across lows, mids and highs, providing reliable reference sound for monitoring and everyday playback. A robust build and practical black finish make them suitable for regular studio workflows and mobile usage.

How to use

Place the headphones over the ears so the velour pads sit comfortably around the ear. Adjust the headband for a secure but gentle fit to maintain good seal and comfort. Use with appropriate headphone outputs on mixers, audio interfaces or portable players; start at low volume and increase to a comfortable listening level. For monitoring tasks, position yourself in a quiet environment to benefit from the closed-back isolation and assess mixes or recordings accurately.

Recommendations

To preserve pad comfort and extend service life, avoid exposing the velour pads to moisture and store the headphones in a dry place when not in use. For critical monitoring, allow brief break-in time and verify mixes on multiple playback systems to ensure translation.
