Hoofdtelefoon Sennheiser HD 660S2 over-ear zwart

The Sennheiser HD 660S2 Over-ear Black are high-end open-back headphones engineered for accurate, natural sound reproduction. Designed for critical listening, they deliver a wide frequency response from 10 Hz to 41,000 Hz and detailed midrange articulation. The over-ear fit and soft ear pads provide comfort for extended sessions, while the open-back construction produces a spacious soundstage with precise imaging suitable for audiophiles and professional monitoring.

Advantages

Open-back acoustic design offers a natural, airy presentation and realistic stereo separation. Wide frequency response ensures both deep bass foundation and extended high-frequency clarity. Comfortable over-ear cushions and a lightweight headband reduce fatigue during long listening periods. Low nominal impedance improves compatibility with a variety of headphone amplifiers and higher-end portable devices, making the headphones flexible for home and studio use.

Suitable for

• Critical listening and audio mastering
• Home hi‑fi systems and desktop playback
• Music production and mixing reference
• Audiophile casual listening with external amplification

Key specifications

• Type: Over-ear, open-back
• Frequency response: 10–41,000 Hz
• Impedance: 300 ohms (nominal)
• Driver technology: Dynamic transducers optimized for detail and balance
• Cup and ear pad material: Soft padding for extended comfort

How to use

Position the headphones so the left and right cups align with the respective ears and adjust the headband for a comfortable, secure fit. For best performance, connect the headphones to a suitable headphone amplifier or audio interface that can drive a 300-ohm load; this ensures full dynamic range and clarity. Use a balanced or high-quality single‑ended output depending on the playback source, and avoid obstructing the open-back cups to maintain the intended soundstage and airiness.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use with dedicated headphone amplifiers or high-quality audio interfaces when listening on desktop or studio setups. Avoid using open-back headphones in noisy or public environments where sound leakage and ambient noise can interfere with the listening experience.
