Stekkerdoos Acar F5 overspanningsbeveiliging — 5 stopcontacten, 1,5 m kabel, zwart

The Acar F5 surge protector power strip provides five grounded outlets in a compact black housing and includes a 1.5 m power cable. Designed for home and office environments, the unit offers basic surge protection to help reduce the risk of damage from transient voltage spikes while enabling multiple devices to be powered from a single mains socket. The slim footprint and straightforward design make it suitable for placing under desks, behind entertainment units or near workstations.

Advantages

The Acar F5 combines five grounded sockets with a 1.5 m cable length to balance reach and placement flexibility. Built-in surge protection helps guard connected electronics against brief overvoltage events. The compact black enclosure minimizes visual impact and fits into a range of interior setups without taking up much space. Grounded outlets ensure safe connection for devices that require earthing.

Key specifications

• Number of outlets: 5 grounded sockets
• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Housing color: black
• Protection type: surge protection for transient voltage spikes
• Intended environment: home and office use

How to use

Place the power strip on a stable, flat surface close to the devices to be connected and plug its mains cable into a properly grounded wall socket. Connect equipment to the grounded outlets, ensuring that the total load does not exceed the rating of the building circuit. Avoid placing the unit where it can be exposed to liquids, excessive heat or direct sunlight. If the surge protection indicator (if present) shows a fault, disconnect connected equipment and replace the unit as necessary.

Recommendations

Use the Acar F5 surge protector for low- to moderate-power devices and sensitive electronics; avoid connecting high-power appliances such as heaters, kettles, or air conditioners. Regularly inspect the cable and housing for damage, do not overload the strip, and position it to allow adequate ventilation and easy access to the plug and sockets.
